California burned_something similar to Katrina, I guess_does this mean that Fox can be impartial after all, and really report the news how it is? Because I don't recall reading this anywhere else. Of course other news outlets must be reporting it, but I'm basically at the computer and not much watch TV now.

The story has to deal with the fact that California regulations require that a trained fire spotter be on every helicopter and fixed wing aircraft being used to drop water or fire retardant on wild fires. The helicopters were ready to go on late Sunday but the fire spotters had not arrived to get with the choppers. A sidebar to that story concerns the C-130 aircraft of the California Air National Guard not yet being fitted out with the needed equipment to turn them into firefighting platforms, despite the funds being appropriated some four years ago.
I'm certain there will be more stories by way of the Fox News site and others over the next week or so. The one thing which always happens in the wake of these disasters is the appearance of the finger of blame sticking up from the rubble.

I lean left at present, yet I nevertheless watch Fox, although they have a foul habit of telling partial truths, which to the uneducated viewer, makes all different comments look honest. All one has to do is truth examine Fox to bare the hypocrisy and distortions coming from that community.
