Prices end up being higher then Comcast and other competitors and they lock you in for 2 years!@! The service is exactly the same quality as Comcast, so unless you just don't like your current provider there is no reason to waste your time and money switching. It takes about 4-5 hours for Verizon to hook your service up, but don't worry you will get charged on your next few bills for each item they installed. They have the worst billing department I've ever dealt with, I've had the service 5 months now and had a different total cost every month for the same services, they seem to always be doing retroactive costing on something. The best advice is to call your current provider and tell them you want to cancel, they will give you a better deal then your current one to stay with them, win win!!

FIOS is AWESOME. Definitely go with FIOS. I had it when I lived in NJ (they don't have it here in FL yet grrr..) and it was the best internet service I've ever had. Definitely worth the $40. It's faster, only $7 more than the other one for three times the speed, and they are going to basically give you $40 in free service and a $20 gift card that is almost as good as cash.
