All she could find was a journal in the bag you were carrying, but did not want to infringe on your privacy by reading it.
Here's the thing: YOU HAVE AMNESIA! You have no memory of your life up to now, and you are very confused about what you should do next.
You take the time to read your journal and it contains enough information for you to piece together who you are and what kind of life you've lived. This includes who your family, kids, spouse are, and your occupation, religion, spiritual beliefs, and your happiness with your life thus far. Now you have a choice to make...
What would you do? Would you go back to your life or start a new one? If you'd start a new life, how so?

As much as I love new adventures, I am very faithful at heart. Knowing I had loved ones who were probably concerned for me; a job waiting; family members, etc...would weigh too heavily on my heart for me to ignore. I would go back to my old life.
Even now, I miss old friends & think about where they are with their life...

the old saying "life is always greener on the other side" came
to my mind, but that is not always true especially in this sort of a situation. It would depend on what kind of relationship a person had with his former family. I would go back even though mine isn't the best in the world, but it's what I know and I have a good wife, daughter, son-in-law and two lovely little grandaughters and I wouldn't trade that for a new life. Another big deciding factor is even if I knew what my religion was after reading my journal,, I may not remember what it's like to be a Christian and understand what eternal life is. So, if I pick the old life, I WOULD know and would not have to take a chance on missing out on eternity in heaven..

I would definitely go back to my old life it says I'm happy thus far and if i go back around people that are familiar it can start to bring back memories. Plus if i had worked hard and I have a good family why change, happy is good, people wait a life time for happiness.

I think it's an interesting observation that to a person it is considered either an old life or a new one. So what is life other than the chooses we make. Hears a better question, maybe; What prevents us from creating a new life for ourselves anyway?

I would go back the the regular life.
Depending on my journal entries I would get to know the ones I loved and try to forget the ones I did not.

Ok I would stick to this one. I've worked real hard to get where I am today and I don't put a face on for anyone so this life is good.

If I remembered my old life, I would no longer have amnesia, therefore I would feel obligated to go back to my old life. If I still had amnesia, I would be consumed with knowing who I was and where I came from, so either way I would go back. ;-)

Damn, that's deep.
I'd just go back to my old life, as long as it was a good situation and all. There'd probably be too much red tape involved in starting a "new" one, but if your old life was bad enough, that'd be a necessary inconvenience
