Question: if I want to print hidden lines like _ _ _ _ _ ?

right now, after plotting, I still get _______, even it shows _ _ _ _ on screen.

Please, can you tell me what’s wrong here (with the Lt-scale factor) and how I can adjust this problem to get the exact hidden line plotting from the concerned layer?

I agree with the first guy.

the commands for paper space ltscale is psltscale
and lt scale is ltscale.
ltscale stands for line type scale it controls the way the line types are viewed and printer.

For example if you have a linetype that is - - - - - - - and it shows up line - - - - - - - when it is viewed but printed like --------------------------- then you need to change the ltscale if you are in model and psltscale if you are in paper space. psltscale only has an on and off mode so you can turn it on = 1 and off = 0. to make it view like - - - - then turn off the psltscale and regen all. but if it prints like -------- then make your ltsacle lower of bigger in a 12 increments scale and the try printing again. just remember what ever scale you are printing in the ltscale should be equal to the scale that you are printing to. to figure out what ltscale you should be in all you need to do for example

1/8" = 1'-0"
you take 1/8 and get .125
then take 12 the universal increments and divided by .125 of what ever scale you are in

12 / .125 = 96 this is what your ltscale should be.

If you have any other questions please let me know.

I use autocadd all the time
check your paper space ltscale should be .5 if in paper space if in model space ltscale is always half of dimscale ie if dimscale is 96 ltscale is 48
