I have always liked Poltergeist ever since I was little. I think Poltergeist could actually be decently remade. I do take remakes seriously and rarely approve of them. However, I think Poltergeist would be awesome to remake.

Any movie can be decently remade, and horror movies of the past would do great with today's special fx.

Oh if you did, may I recommend a story rewrite, just enough to keep it in the spirit of the original, but changed around a bit to make it original.

No I dont think it would be, I do wish that Rob Zombie would make another new Halloween movie though.Thatd be cool.I really really want to see a Terminator 4.Now thatd be awesome to see.And maybe even a remake of The movie The Lost boys.(Vampire movie from the 80s) Id love to see Corey Haim and Corey Feldman reunite and do a new Lost Boys movie.

Matin Scorcese's "The departed" is a remake of the hongkonese movie "infernal affairs" and has been infinitley more suitable in a position scooping 4 oscars which include spectacular movie. it truly is likewise a brilliant movie in its own good and that i ought to strongly reccomend it.

Maybe in another 20 or 25 years when no one will remember the original. They'll never find a cuter Carol Anne though! That little girl was so adorable!

No - I think it was Heather O'Rouke that did a lot for that movie - her ability to act at such a young age, her innocence......it would be impossible to replace her - it just would not be Poltergeist!

Scary movies are not what they used to be. I don't think they should remake it because I think that it would take away from the original.

I think they should STOP remaking movies, making movies from comic book characters, making sequels and TRY TO COME UP WITH SOME NEW IDEAS!!!!!!!!!

No. Every remake is worse than the original. Thus the word "original".....

yeah there's alot to work with.

the concept of bringing people to another realm could really be expanded on and made with scarier monsters, better portals, and better suspense and actors.

although you can't be carol ann and that freaky lady who said her name.

alot.
