Why do they hate the U.S.?

Why do terrorists hate the U.S. so much they will commit suicide to attack the U.S.? Like the 9-11 hijackers.

There are a number of reasons that people are against the US.
A) Because the US is installing and/or supporting right-wing dictatorships throughout the world.
B) Because the US is trying to install their form of democracy, which is really not democratic.
C) The US is exporting it fanatical fundermentalist Christianity into countries that are Islamic or Buddhist. Both Christianity and Islam are evangelical religions and therefore compete with each orther for converts.
D) The US is exporting its culture to other countries and many people consider US culture as bad, indecent and insulting.

There is a specific goal that Osama Bin Laden had in attacking the USA

Osama is from Saudi Arabia, and he is angry at the US because of its influence on his country. He wants us out.

Saudi Arabia is a monarchy, not a democracy, and the ruling Saudi's can do whatever they like, even if the people (many of whom are fundamentalist Muslims) don't like it.

The Saudi rulers (not the population) have a very close & friendly relation with the U.S. The Saudi rulers keep buying our jets, doing things that are Western, and letting us maintain a military base there, etc. The common people don't like this. Osama sees himself as the person who can fix this problem by forcing the USA out & allow the country to be more independent & Muslim.

Well isn't Al-Qaeda a close ally of the USA. I thought they did what was told to them by the Bush administration. I think they were payed handsomely. Osama after 6 years still not caught or killed, what do you smell !
