There's no way I could be married to a man like that......and, no offense, but I can't for the life of me understand why ANY woman would be willing to put herself into that situation......

To play devil's advocate, it's been going on since prehistory. Polyandry is when a woman has more than one husband, but that has never worked.

Nature drives us to procreate. If there is 1 man for every 4 woman than it would be better for many to share the man than to never have children. If 1 woman had 4 men, it's very possible some would never have children and more so, they wouldn't know who the father was anyways in most cases.

On a side note, we are not monogamous anyways. That is defined as having one mate for your entire lives...how many men or women do you know that has only slept with one other person. In the lifespan today, I'd say the average sleeps with at least 9, and those who don't probably lacked the ability to.

Just keeping it honest.

No way, any more than I'd put up with my husband having an affair. I'm a one-man woman, and expect him to be a one-woman man. I don't understand how anyone could willingly enter into a relationship like that, either, but maybe here the key word is "willingly".

No. Marriage is between a husband and wife, or in some cases (the gay culture), man and man, wife and wife. I am sorry, but being married to one guy is hard enough, if he is sharing himself with others, that just is wrong. Ditto for women.

No way could I do that. First off, I don't share when it comes to my man. Second off, who could handle all that estrogen at one time? I mean, I'm a girl and all, but all that constant bickering and nagging and TALKING would just get old after awhile.

No way. I'm too jealous of a creature to share my man.

Definitely not, I'm enough for any man and if he thinks he needs more women thats fine by me. As long as he accepts that for every other woman he has I have another man. I' m nothing if not fair!

No.
That is like taking your immature dating years and commiting your life to that... fighting over men, and getting jealous over men.
And, to be honest... I wouldn't want to share him!

Unless it was an extreme religious group, I don't know why any woman would marry into that.
