Yes...definitely! Even when the singing starts, I find myself trying to sound out the guitar and sing the song at the same time.

The riffs I enjoy the most, off the top of my head, are:

"Supernova" - Liz Phair
"Sick of Myself" - Matthew Sweet
"Eye of the Beholder" - Metallica
"Down" - 311
"Again" - Alice in Chains
"Surprise, You're Dead!" - Faith No More
"Blind" - Korn

Filter's "Hey Man Nice Shot" has a super-catchy guitar riff for the chorus, that you've probably never paid attention to:
An ascending scale, followed by a descending scale, which alternates and changes. Check it out next time its on.

Another primal guitar solo is from the 1950's: Rock Around The Clock" has a PHENOMENAL and super tasty guitar solo that is hard to beat. Every note is genius.

Can't forget Link Wray's instrumental, "Rumble" (also from the 50's)
Although there are no words, "Rumble" was banned from radio because it was thought to cause violence in listeners. How cool is that?

(Sorry, we guitarists notice stuff like that.)

The opening of "Crazy Train" from Ozzy.

If you listen to the Iron Maiden, Rush and/or Megadeth live discs from Rio, the whole audience is singing the guitar riffs.

Haha, all the time.

Most of Slash's guitar solos while he was in Guns N' Roses fit into that category. Particularly "Sweet Child O' Mine".

The solos in "Master of Puppets" and "Fade to Black" by Metallica.

The solo at the end of Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb".

to name a few..

Edit: On my way to the airport last week i was singing along to the riff and solo of the Children of Bodom song "Are you Dead Yet?".. i don't have a clue how that sounded because i had my headphones in, but my family were giving me the strangest looks..
Hmm..

Yes, for some reason that Metallica cover of "The Ecstasy of Gold" does that too me. It's so damn catchy.
And "Pilgrimage" from Nine Inch Nails has me making all kinds of weird "nanana" sounds... heh

I sang along to the solo from "Epic" by Faith No More in the car this morning. It was one of the first solos i learnt to play on the guitar all those years ago.

Actually...I will sing just about every instrument when it comes to Cake's cover of "I Will Survive". From the bass to the horn and yes; the guitar. I honestly can't help myself.

Should one of us start a support group for this?
My name is BuzzKill...and I like to sing instrument sounds.

Haha oh yes. All the time. Usually with the Chili Peppers or Mars Volta, but it's been known to happen with Interpol too...

Black Sabbath's "Iron Man" is one that comes to mind.

Also the closing riff of Camel's "Lady Fantasy"
