I have morals! I don't kick cats, dogs, people or anything. I'm not blatantly rude or ignorant to people. No stealing. Bending/shattering laws is fine as long as other individuals aren't directly harmed (illicit drug use - yes! killing people - no! Jaywalking and speeding are also acceptable by my moral code...) I like the whole concept of living your life to the fullest without impacting anyone else's ability to do so. It works.

I think it's better to have few morals but actually adhere to them than try to live up to morals set by a church/government and constantly fail at keeping them.

I have morals. They are basically these. I never cheat on my wife when married, or my girlfriend when not. If i give my word I keep it for good or bad. I love my pets and when one is taken in they are part of the family. If I have no girlfriend or wife, and just pick up a horny stranger I wear a rubber and treat her with respect. I try to leave her feeling good and respected the next day. Breakfast and casual converation, even if I know we won't see each other again. I bargain hard, but I don't lie. I work on airplanes as a certified mechanic for a living. I do everything I do by the book, I double check, and if I sign it off, I make sure it is right. Peoples lives depend on it. My hand shake to any agreement is as good as a signature on paper. And if I am asked to do anything even slighty unsafe in on an aircraft the asker can wish in one hand and **** in the other. I think I have morals.

Everyone has morals that they live by. It's inherent that us as humans know what the difference between what is right and what is wrong. The problem lies in what our perception is of that same dichotomy. I think this more or less your question: Where do you morals lie?

Answering this question, I believe my morals lie with the general good of mankind. I don't believe in the Judeo-Christian god, so I do not base my morals upon Christianity. I feel that all good people can be good without the governance of a preconceived belief.

In my opinion, we live our lives and know whatever it is that we experience or witness. If we experience bad and that is all that we know, we will reinact those bad actions, and will, therefore, hold poor morals dear to our hearts. However, if we experience good, generally, we tend to reciprocate that good. However, there are ALWAYS exceptions.

My advice to whoever wants to hear it: don't believe in something just because someone tells you it is right. Go out and experience and witness real life to decide what you truly believe; and please, never-ever-ever-ever-ever make up your mind on what you think is right without fully hearing out the entire situation. Preconceived judgements lead to rash decisions. Rash decisions lead to undesired results.

It all depends on the person I guess. If someone tries to live a by a "code" (so to speak) They would technically have some kind of a moral that they would live by. For example, someone who always tries to be good to people lives by a moral in sync with treat someone how you would want to be treated. On the other hand, someone doesn't necessarily have to have be good in order to have morals. It's the same as "Kill or be killed". Morals I guess would be a saying or a belief that someone lives by.

Of course, haven't we all? Even sociopaths/psychopaths have barriers over which they will not cross, so in that sense everyone has morals It is at what level your morals "kick in" that determines how "bad" or "good" you are.
