i made a promise that i would go to my friends halloween , but my bf wants me to go to a haunted house with him, i really want to go to both events but i can't because they are at the same time

I guess you can always ask your bf to come with you to your best friend's party after the haunted house because I don't think you will spend a whole lot of time at the haunted house. Your best friend's party might not end until late at night though.
Unless your boyfriend has some other plans for you both after the haunted house, otherwise, I think you can make it to both events.
However, I would suggest you to go with your boyfriend because your best friend will understand if you explain it to her.

go to a haunted house with ur bf some other day or take him to a halloween party.

Ur best friend is more important friends are forever and guys whatever.I mean it's okay to go out with ur boyfriend but u should choose ur friends party afterall there is going to be only one party and u can go to the haunted house some other time.

Who owns your brain, your boyfriend or you? You made a promise, go to your friend's party. Done. Life is full of crappy crossovers...but a promise is a promise. It really isn't your boyfriend's decision, it's yours. Make the right one. The Bf will get over it, he's not a three year old.

you already promised your friend that you would go to the Halloween party you should go there because if you don't your friend will feel like you are ditching him/her and they will feel like you rather spend more time with your bf. plan something else with your bf some other time.

first go to one,THEN go to the other. Go first to the one that would end sooner; this way you will still have some time at the other, and both your best friend and your BF will be happy you went .

Tell you're boyfriend you'd love to go, but you've already made a committment to attend your friend's party. And then you honor that committment.
Boyfriends come and go. Don't lose your best friend over this.

Ask your bf if you can do it later, I mean bfs come and go but a friend is (well should be) for life.
