What are the best colleges/universities in New York, Pensylvannia, and/ North Carolina. I want to go to a big to medium size college w/ nice scenary, weather,and/or big dorms. Most importantly w/ majors in photography, drama, and/or psycholgy. Basically a lot of majors to choose from.

If you are looking for a liberal arts school in NC I would say UNC Chapel Hill (but its really hard to get into out of state), there is also UNC Greensboro and Elon College, both really good liberal arts schools...good luck!

University at Buffalo - best engineering/math school in the area. Offer a ton of majors. Large school. Canada a half hour away. Two campuses. Check out the website.

Penn State is a good choice. With 40,000 students at the University Park Campus, It might seem kind of big, but it doesnt feel that way. They have smaller Commonwealth campuses too. SUNY -Albany is also nice.

You can go to school in the mountains of NC. It is so beautiful. There's Appalachian State University and Western Carolina University. WCU is gorgeous and it snows at App.

Best in NC:
Duke, UNC-Chapel Hill
Seems to me like the best schools for you to consider would be, in order: 1) NYU and 2) Carnegie Mellon
