I was wondering if banks are closed on christmas eve. I do ahve a point in asking this so please dont give me rediulous answers

Some are closed, but some are open all day. Some even close about 2 or 3 hours early. It depends an the bank and the location.

Like most business I am sure the banks will be open for a short while on christmas eve but will close early so dont be surprised if only open from 10 am - 1pm or something of that nature.

Since Christmas Eve is on a Monday, I would presume most banks will be closed all day in order to give their employees two days off after the weekend.
However, this may vary by bank per their individual holiday policies.

Usually the bank closes early Xmas eve. Like 3 or 4. They do here.

I'm pretty sure most of them are. If your point of asking this is that you know your payday is on Christmas Eve and you'll need the money (because that's happened to me a few times) I just go a cash my check at Wal-mart. They charge a little bit, but i only usually get charged 75 centish!

The banks will be open on xmas eve as its a Monday, The only drawback may be them closing slightly earlier, to down the freebies they got from their satisfied customers.
