It's going to be my one year anniversary next week and we are stuck on where to eat for dinner. We want to try something new and different. Any suggestions are appreciated.

We are not picky on what type of food that we eat. Mexican, Italian, Japanese, etc. Just somewhere that's nice and romantic.

Go to Prime at Bellagio.

When making a reservation, ask for a seat with a window on the lake.

(There may be better steakhouses in LV, but when you add in the view of the fountains, Prime has got an advantage. Also, not to detract from the food, it is also very good).

Bradley Ogden is also good (my wife loves it), but it's stuck in the middle of Caesar's casino floor (it does have very chic decor, though). If you can somehow score tix to see Celine Dion (or Elton John if he happens to be in town at that time), this is a great choice.

Alize, I thought the view was better than the food. If you want French, go to Andre's.

If you are loaded with cash, either Picasso or Joel Rubechon are at the top of the list (I've not been to either). I've heard you need to make reservations a month or two in advance for those, as well.

Happy Anniversary!

There are lots of nice ones.
Almost all the restaurants in the Bellagio are upscale and romantic, there's also an Italian place in the Venetian (forget the name), up a flight of stairs and overlooking the canal.
My personal faves are Nobu (to die for Japanese/sushi) in the Hard Rock and B&B, Mario Batali's restaurant in the Venetian.

When we got married in Vegas we went to at the Daniel Boulud Brasserie at the Wynn which was nice. It was over by the fountain with the "fake people" (lake of dreams) and the other was at a really nice itallian place inside of the Mirage, Onda Ristorante.

they have a great steak house at Circus Circus and they bring the steaks to your table and have you choose one that the chef will cook for you. The prices are reasonable. Stay away from the sales people on the streets trying to lure you in to their restaurant. Absolutely stay away from the buffets
