Persons who want you may not be same as those whom you need/want. at some places you are wanted for your skill, power, nature, and yet your heart may be longing some one else who not only DOESNOT WANT YOU BUT HAS LET DOWN YOU AND YOU FEEL REJECTED. So yes It is Possible To Feel Rejected...Even Though You're Wanted Around !

Oh, sure. The little voices in my head speak louder to make me feel rejected even though I know I am wanted and needed.

Sure it is. I think that happens because of our insecurities, which lead us to give ourselves disturbing messages.
These messages might include: They don't want me in their group because I am boring, different, not smart enough, or not of their socio-economic status. Also: They are just feeling sorry for me, or they are just trying to be nice to me, or they included me just because they like my friend, or because I am their neighbor or coworker, etc., etc., etc.
We need to really listen to our internal dialog. Then we can identify these self-alienating messages and thoughts and challenge their validity--and eventually accept the most logical explanation--"Gosh, I guess they like me! I must be a likeable person."

Yes it can happen. If someone doesn't show their feelings or show love it could make a person feel unwanted. But then they say they love or care for you. Guess some don't show things at times.
