We can always come up with several explanations for anything. We can look at the chemistry of the brain, healing effects of laughter, the whole complex psychology, environment, and endless dynamic interrelated interactions to infinity.
But what would it all really explain?
I think the best 'always' explanation for hysterical giggling fits is...

No, and analyzing would take away from all of the fun...just let go, fall down, try to breathe, and wiggle your arms and legs untill you pass out...if that dosent help then shed tears of joy...grab an oxygen mask and a bananna just in case you go for 3 days...one packet of sugar and a bananna can feed a family of 5 for dinner, or at least I have been told :)
