what about other regions. Do you think that the border lines are negative and why did we seperate the regions? How do they cause problems in the world today and in the past???

Africa had borders, European's just didn't know what they were and/or didn't respect them.

Any community will have a territory defined by borders. When these borders aren't respected, change, or don't fit the needs of the community, then there is conflict.

One problem the creating of borders different than the ancient tribal borders created was that when the Europeans left there were multiple tribes living in single nations who struggled for the control of Government and/or the annihilation of rival tribes.

These borders were imposed by the colonial powers drawing lines on a map and did not take into account tribal differences or local tradition
