the colonists formed the sons of liberty, which gathered to protest the english laws (such as the stamp and sugar act)
albany was a city....not importnat to history really.

I agree with Bruce. Though I think many others are candidates for this title.
"Patrick Henry, called "the voice of the American Revolution" is buried at Red Hill in Charlotte County , Virginia ."
