You seem to be a nice young man. If I were the parents of this girl, I would allow you to have supervised dates with my daughter, though 9th grade is kinda young. 9th graders are usually 14, you are probably 17. I guess this is ok.... but 14 is too young in my opinion to have a serious boyfriend. OKAY.... the bottom line. You should just stay friends with her..... let her and her family know your intentions but keep it really innocent for the next year at least.

I'm not sure. Maybe. I am a parent of a ninth grader. The fact that her parents are your coaches and friends of your family and they know you well is a positive in your favor. However, I would be concerned about my daughter, a freshman, dating a senior. Three years isn't that big a deal when you are in your 20's, but when she's 14 and you are 17 then it can be a pretty good age gap. So it would really have to be on a case by case basis for me to consider it. Will you be leaving next fall to go away to college? How would the parents feel about their 10th grader dating a college guy? If you think she likes you go ahead and ask her out. But if her parents say no, try not to take it personally. They really are looking out for her best interest and it is more than likely nothing against you personally. I did let my daughter go to homecoming with a senior. They are really good friends and I know they like each other, but I was concerned about it and I considered saying no.

Big difference between 9th grade and senior to a parent. Especially when you're the parent of the 9th grade girl.

relies upon on the situation. In my college, if a pupil is attempting to alter tiers (say dropping down from an honors classification) or in the event that they % to alter their non-compulsory (in the event that they be certain they % to tale a business enterprise classification fairly of paintings) then they are going to. the only exception is that if there at the instant are not any openings. in spite of the shown fact that, in case you % to alter the schedule so a pupil may be with their acquaintances or they hate their instructors then you definately ought to have an extremely good reason. most of the time that may not take place.

um, a senior with a freshman....just based on that i probably wouldn't be thrilled, HOWEVER, if her parents think you're a good kid, then they might be ok with it.
at the next practice, when it's over, ask her out on a date. if she says yes, then go ask your coach say "hey coach, i just asked jamie out to the movies on friday and she wants to go, but i wanted to clear it with you first. so, would that be ok?"
by going to him, this shows dad that you aren't just intersted in groping his 15 year old daughter.
good luck!

I think if your parents know the girl's parents and vice versa you have a much better chance than otherwise....
