If you are out of state, PSU would be tough. SATs are important too. Apply anyway ... they are really big on getting a well-rounded population. Also you can go to a commonwealth campus for 2 years and then transfer to University Park. Michigan State and Ohio State will probably be OK for you. I don't know anything about the others.

I think a 3.5 GPA is fairly good. I think you will have great luck getting into all the state colleges but I dont know about Notre Dame. Why dont you give it a try and see what happens. Those are all good schools.

With your GPA I would say Michigan State.

try using collegedata.com to find out your chances .

But besides your GPA you have to think about the other stuff that you are invovled in outside of the school.

3.5 is low....i mean if you are taking honors and AP classes you GPA should be MUCH higher than that. I don't think you could get into any of them especially if they are out of state...good luck though
