serious answers. we don't have to win to auburn i know that much, and it is very possible that we can beat LSU. so as i said before, no hating on alabama. I just want to know what would have to happen after next weekend.

if we beat LSU and Miss. St. (unlike auburn could do) we DO NOT have to beat auburn, although we will anyway...

so basically, what yall are saying is if we lose to LSU, then we have to beat Miss St. and Auburn, but if we beat LSU and Miss St., it doesn't really matter if we beat Auburn or not. K. I think I got that.

we have to win 2/3 of our last conference games.

This is a wonderful situation, realistically our tide doesn't look good matched up against LSU. I'm just hoping Les Miles makes an unfogivable mistake in the game.
More specifically your question.
IF Alabama beats LSU they must win either Miss St. or Auburn.
Quite possibly we could be headed into the Iron Bowl with nothing to lose.

If we beat LSU and lost to Auburn this would be the senario
In conference play
LSU would have
1-sec east loss (kentucky)
1-sec west loss (alabama, hypothetically)
Alabama would have
1-sec east loss (georgia)
1-sec west loss (auburn, hypothetically)
Auburn would have
2-west losses(Miss St., LSU)

Alabama would have the tie breaker against LSU

Lookin LES and LES like a National Championship, Tigers

Beware the Rising Tide!

NOT SO FAST EVERYONE!
We MUST!! beat LSU to get in the SEC championship game
Not just 2 out of 3.
Or have LSU lose twice after us.

If the Tide can pull off an upset against LSU then the only thing standing in their way is the last game of the season at Auburn which is always a war.

They should not have any problem with Mississippi St .on the road.

Of course the first step is always the toughest. Good luck against LSU.

oh we are so totally for sure 100% going to beat LSU and auburn for sure. MS is a given, because unlike auburn, we can beat 0-5 teams in the sec! haha.. we just have to win 2 more of these next 3 SEC games to play in the championship. roll tide and im glad to see some good old bama fans on here!

lower than your state of affairs i do not understand for effective even though it definately would not be Alabama because their record contained in the SEC should be 6-2 and LSU/AU should be 7-a million. yet off the right of my head, that they'd likely bypass with Auburn because of Cam and all. Oh and LSU ought to likely be ranked round sixth, below Oregon, TCU, BSU, Oklahoma, and Nebraska. in simple terms my guess...

Well if Alabama can beat LSU then all they have to do is win the rest of their games after that and they will be playing for the tile possibly. If they can beat LSU then they will ave total control of their destiny.

Simply put, if (and I will emphasise IF) Bama beats LSU, they control their own destiny.

If they win out, they go to Atlanta.

If they LOSE, they'll most likely need LSU to lose to Ole Miss AND Arkansas.

Looks like bammer has to worry about Miss. St. again this year. They just beat the piss out of Kentucky.

they have to not lose to Auburn, which unfortunately for Bama fans, won't happen.
