During the whole "Symonds being called a monkey" debate on Yahoo answers I responded to one question and called the asker "a goose" for asking what I believed to be a dumb question (The question revolved around the issue of only Australians receiving media coverage whilst "the heroic and mighty Indians" received almost none - I disagreed and told the asker to have a look at TV and the papers and ended the recommendation, "you goose"). My response was removed and I was notified that I had violated the Yahoo answers rules pertaining to vilification. Is this a case of Indians being able to give it but not take it? or did I overstep the mark? Thanks for your time.

Of course they cant take it mate.
The sub continent seem replete with snivelling losers who cant stand it when their demi gods have feet of clay!! God look at the way the Sri Lankan fans on this site behaved when they lost the World Cup.
You did nothing wrong. They are just anally retentive!!!
Hey bet i get deleted for saying that!!!!!!!

I think fans all over the world are heavily influenced by the media.

Both the Indian and Australian media are paricularly harsh. The Indian media is frivolous, building up the hype only to denigrate the team after losses.

The Aussie media on the other hand focusses on running down the opposition right from the start. I remember Azharuddin advising the Indian team not to read Aussie papers - a day after Azhar made a century, the papers carried pictures of him on the front page, getting bolwed!

I think, being influenced by all the media talk (and player talk, that the Aussies are known for and now the Indians have picked up) so-called fans who really don't know much about cricket have started off in the same fashion themselves.

We saw quite a few idiots show their true colours in Bombay. No doubt, a lot of Australians (especially those bloody South Australians!) will be out at the cricket grounds with the sole intentions of getting drunk/sun-burned and harassing the opposition.

So, to answer your question - I don't think there's much difference between the Aussie and the Indian spectators! If you really want to enjoy a match with a well cultured crowd, you're going to have to go for a Pura cup game. They're not too bad actually!

Get real.....all these happen all the time. Aussies are reputedly known for such antics. Remember, what McGrath
said about Jayasuriya...."Monkey".....When the same chin
music is on them can't take the heat.....
It happens all the time and predominantly on the field.

Media puts a spin on it for its coverage and at times it is blown way out of proportion.

Let the games begin and bring on Sreesanth to start the
ring music and dance.

This is not the way, how they get treated in india, infact they have been dealted more seriously then that.i know how the australians in this era. They are proud that they are the BIG GIANT of cricket and no one is capable of playing with them.Just have a look on the career of MacGRATH,SHAND WARNE,MACGILL,RICKY PONTING......
i think that it is the first time when they get catch in their own web.
And who can forget what they have done with the cricket LEGEND MURALI.
He is the ever best player of the test cricket and he has to stop the bowling due to the stupid behaviour of oz fans.

they also forget what they have done with SHOAIB AKHTAR(australian hasn't record him the world fastest bowler),SHOAIB MALIK, SHABBIR AHMED(australian finish the career of this emerging bowling)
i don't mind if anyone remove my answer. but fact is fact.
now its there turn to face the music.

if i would be the captain of PAKISTANI team , then i will let them know to whom they are playing with..

look man, trash talking is part ofthe game, but in regards TO ANSWERING YOUR question, fans should harden up, its about national pride and love for the game. The talking should be done by the ball and the bat. Noplayer puts their money where their mouth is. Fans should harden up.
