Don't worry, we'll change the name if they come here.
Seriously, why is it stupid? If Minnesota doesn't want to support their team, then why should they stay? The North Stars left, the Twins were almost contracted, and now the Vikes? Sounds like a pattern.
Ruthiana - I'm just messing around, too. I'd love to see Toronto get a team, but I'd hate to see it be at the expense of another city.

If I am a Vikings fan, I wouldn't be too concerned about a move to Toronto. This is a typical NFL scare tactic: when a team needs a new stadium paid for by taxpayers, the NFL floats a rumour about moving the team. With the NFL in Europe for Sunday's game the buzz is all about foreign expansion and the NFL is exploiting this. Too many problems concerning moving an NFL team to Toronto: the exchange rate, high Canadian taxes and visa issues conspire against moving a team to Toronto.
I have lived in Los Angeles for approximately 18 years and have to deal with 13 years of hearing about how the Seahawks and Cardinals were moving here only to see those teams get new stadium deals in their hometowns.

this is the part i love being a Packer fan: I will never, ever have to worry about the team moving. why? because the people own the team. it's not about the owners own greedy interests. it's about us. if the vikings move out of minnesota and toronto, it wouldn't change too much as far as the division goes. i'm sure they would have a lot of support up there being the first NFL team. that is, if it goes through. if they do move, it would only make me ever so proud to be a packer fan.

Yeah that doesn't sound too good to me either. I'm not a Vikings fan but I'm just saying the sound of Toronto Vikings just sounds weird to me is all.

I'm a Vikings fan as well and I'd hate to see them leave. I would understand if they left because people here don't think much of them, there's as many Packer fans here as there are Viking fans.

hmm, well first they should fire brad childress, that would be the first step towards a championship. They should invest their top draft pick this year in a qb as well, if they do those things, then they could be a pretty good team in a few years, and wont have to relocate.

Why not? Move them to LA and have ANOTHER NFL team leave because nobody supports them in the city?
