They have one department for both. One side is for lost, which is probably just a computer where you record what is lost, etc. The other side has cubicles where turned in found items are kept.
You receive a found item, you go over to the good ole computer and look it up. It it's there, happy someone. If not, it sits on the shelf until someone reports it lost.
