My wedding day.
One of the days on a houseboat at the river.

The best day of my life used to be the day I got my new job and was able to leave my other job which I hated.
More recently though the best day of my life was that time I spent an afternoon with the girl I was seeing at the time. I got out of work early, picked her up and took her for lunch. We sat outside the cafe on the street eating lunch and chatting, then she had a meeting to go to (a meeting on her day off!!) so she went to that and I headed into town. She later met me in town and we went for a nice long walk in the country. Then we came back to her new apartment, she made a cup of tea while I assembled her TV stand. Afterwards we went and ordered a pizza to share, then we came back to her parents' house and sat eating pizza and watching TV. We spent the rest of the evening just chatting and laughing. When I went home I was crazy about her and couldn't wait to see her again.
She broke up with me the following Monday :(
