I just received a "violation notice" for posting the words, "Pot, meet kettle." As in, "The pot calling the kettle black?"

I mean, really. Somebody out there really is obsessed with me. I guess I should be flattered.

Thanks!

Question: Are we that gullible?? I think not.?

Question Details: I see so many posts referring to Bush as a "mass murderer", a "war criminal", "Hitler-like", etc. He served one term before he was re-elected and if my memory is still good enough I believe that 9/11 was in his first term. Did the man we elected twice deceive at least half the country? That includes the Dems in Congress who voted for the war. With all of their resources and knowledge did they too fall prey to a sinister lie by Bush to line his and Cheney's pockets? I think not. I believe it is a bad case of sour grapes. Why else do libs make fools of themselves calling conservatives names? That reflects so poorly on the libs! No ability to debate rationally. So, they stoop to childish schoolyard tactics of name calling.

Deleted Answer: Pot, meet kettle.

"incessant smarmy attitude towards those who have the audacity to disagree with you."

Nice. Sorry, no can do. Nothing "smarmy" about posting sites, articles, links to FACTS which apparently YOU "disagree with."
P.S. Your answer was pretty smarmy. I hope somebody reports you.

To ♥Jahpson : First off sweetie, what level I am on is completely irrelevant to the POINT I am making.
Secondly - this is my *second* ID and frankly why the heck should I keep having to start over because of some anal retentive Rightwingnut who is obsessed with me and keeps reporting banal posts???

Thirdly, it's "you're on level 5" as in "YOU ARE on level 5" not "your on level 5" for God's sake.

LOL
I got a violation notice by answering the question about "in god we trust on coin, said if you dont like it leave"
Some baby pushed the button. I had to laugh. People who disagree with what they want to hear on the question get hit with a violation
Funnier is I have said worse on other questions and got thumbs up.
This is a place for anonymous turkey's to finally have power that they will never achieve in real life.
Enjoy

No, we do not have an obsession with you.

Be careful how phrase your question next time!

HAR HAR HAR!!!

We also don't agree with random or politically motivated "reporting" on A!Y. Everyone should realize that the politics and religion sections on here are practically begging to be war zones.

On the other hand, although you're sometimes funny and sometimes correct about your facts, sometimes you tell lame jokes. Maybe there should be a "this person's joke was lame" reporting option? Just kidding. It was still mean of them to do that... Not that orcs have a problem with being mean, of course!

Moi? Obsessed? No, but I'll work on it ;-)

Seriously, people who report answers(or questions) based on the fact that they don't like them are somewhat silly. I guess they think that they have the right to censor opinions that diverge from their own.

And that's what is wrong with the direction the country has taken. The administration, and certain people (I'm trying to be non-contentious here, not politically correct) are of the opinion that by killing people, they can kill an idea. They don't realize that by killing the messenger, they reinforce the message. It has happened for millennia (Socrates, Jesus, Gandhi), and it happens everyday.

I think the new reporting system is pretty broken. Scammers are learning how to game the system, and its to the point where people are blocking others and purging their contact lists because a few jerks would rather use authority to shut down ideas they don't like than actual discussion/debate.

You should see what I got slammed for! I wrote yahoo back and reposted my answer and simply asked them to explain what was wrong with it??? Some Posters get offended if you don't answer the question the way they'd like!

I've received violation notices for similar answers. I wear most of them as a badge of honor.

there are a lot of unreasonable people on y/a. they will check your profile and enter violations for nothing, and hope something sticks. kind of like, a stalker. you might suspect people who have everything marked private and no email allowed, my pet peeve.

i still love you, keep firing!

And then complain about the left wing conspiracy of Yahoo censoring their perfectly legitimate answers... yeah. It goes both ways because both sides have childish people.
