Is it because they realise they are 0-8 in all bowl games against SEC team and they might have to play another one in the National Championship game.. Honestly I think BC has a better chance to win out.

Well if I remember every other team seems to be crying since they are not #1 and have lost 1-2 games. Do you give credit for losses?

Ohio State has proven to be a very solid football program over the years. The play in a division with a 94 -87 record against the SEC. The Bucks are 62 -14 coached by Tressel.
Take LSU they are 70-20 under Saban and Miles, which is a fine program to compare.

We just give credit where credit is due and Ohio State has proven themselves worthy of a #1 ranking. It is not Ohio State's fault that the Big 10 is off this year even though they have consistantly had 2-3 teams in the Top 25 all year.

Penn State will take this----just a hunch, and as usual OSU will cry and complain that they are no playing for the National Championship, when the so-called BCS does not pick them and are beat out by another team thats more deserving.

How come there are questions about Ohio State fans crying, when the only one that is doing the crying is YOU! Sorry, the SEC's chances to get into the NC took a big hit last night when BC came back... but what do Ohio State fans have to do with that? I haven't heard them talk much smack since they know that the game this weekend is huge and is anything but a sure bet.

The former Burnt Sienna is correct - It's not Buckeye fans on here complaining, just SEC fans who can't get over the fact that LSU got a beatdown from Kentucky.

The SEC is a great conference, and I think most people realize that. However, it does get a little dull having someone repeat it 400 times a day. OSU is number one, and it's time for others to accept that fact.

Monte,

I think your question should be phrased "Why do OSU fans cry and complain so much".

You'll learn that when you get to the 5th grade.

Other than that, we like to complain in the winter because it gets so cold, we like to complain about taxes, we like to complain in the summer because it gets so hot and humid, we like to complain about gas prices, etc. etc. etc.

With respect to football, we let our football team's record speak for itself.

what OSU fan has been complaining?

from what I can see, it's just SEC fans getting on here and saying how OSU shouldn't be ranked #1 because they 'haven't played anybody'

get over it......your less than original comment has been made 4098308 times in the last 10 days

Because they know they haven't really played a team that was good enough and they're not really worthy of being #1....let them play LSU(even though pitiful Kentucky beat them) or Florida or even Auburn in a game...the SEC will rip them to shreds....and USC lost to Cali, dude above....puleeeeez!
