I've been listing a lot of twin names lately... Started with Remy and Rory, but have realized that maybe matching rhyming twin names aren't the best. So, I was just wondering.... what do you think of these for boy/girl twins;
Remy Ethan
Chantal Renee

I'm French-Canadian if you're wondering about the name selection.

Chantal isn't generally my style, but since you mentioned French-Canadian heritage, I'd think it a very fitting choice in this case. And I LOVE Remy and Chantal for twins. Stylistically consistent and rather complimentary, without being matchy in the least. Wonderful choices! ;)

I think I answered your question yesterday about Remy and Rory- I still LOVE the middle names you chose but I must say i do like Remy Ethan more than the Rory Elijah you had- I do love the name Elijah because he could be Elijah or Eli. Chantal- I don't think I'm a HUGE fan of this name but its not bad- ( sorry for being negative this is just my opinion totally up to you the parents!) Maybe you could have Rory for the girl Rory Elizabeth- very cute! I LOVE you middle name choices!!!!!

I like them, but maybe not Remy and Chantal unless you are living in Canada or France, or speak French mostly at home. Don't get me wrong, I am part French and I love the names and the culture thing, but I like Ethan Paul and Heather Renee. Don't do names that both end in 'y' or start with 'r'. It's too confusing for the kids and other people.

I love the name Remy, though it makes me think of a guy from Louisiana, but Im from Texas, so thats probably why.

And my best friend's name is Chantal. Ive always liked it. I like the way Chantal Renee sounds. It flows nicely. Though, if you are living in a mostly English speaking area, she might be stuck spelling her name all the time, or correcting people when they say "Shan-TAL". or "ShAWn-tall"

I agree that non-rhyming names for twins is best. All the twins Ive knows with matching names hate it. Also, my brother's and my name rhyme (hes only 14 months younger than me) and it really is annoying. We were always a pair, never individuals.
