I agree with John Stossel, I disagree that Global Warming is caused by man. I have a ton of websites that dispute man made Global Warming and they are not opinions, actual scientist, but liberals don't want to hear that side, as Stossel says," the debate is over", which means they can no longer argue their position with facts so they refuse to debate it. Too much evidence to disprove their theory.

There is no debate that global warming is a fact. The only matter under debate is whether global warming is 'caused' by man or merely that mans influence on global warming is only one of many.
Personally I think global warming is nothing more than the normal cyclical climate patterns of the earth (we have had at least 4 'Ice Ages' and just as many 'Warm Ages'). Now does that mean man is off the hook for global warming? No. While man's activities did not cause global warming, it seems obvious that our activities will definitely have an effect as to the severity and the speed to which global warming effects the earth.

I'm sure if you looked hard enough you would still find "scientists" that still think the earth is flat, and that the bible is a science and history book and the earth is 6000 years old blah blah blah
How much of Florida is only 6" to a foot over sea level?
Even 7" to 24" would cause a quite a few problems. GoreCo is not concerned about the world, they are concerned about the people that these potential problems will displace. The world will be fine with slightly higher oceans.

Yes, I agree that the opinion of the Desert Dispatch is indeed an opinion.
Are you asking whether we agree with their opinion or with Al Gore's opinion?

I agree some scientist disagree about global warming, but figures from the U.S.G.S. show that man produces at least 10 times the greenhouse gasses as all the currently active volcanoes.

Agree when it comes to science and science questions it should be an open debate.
No politician should call an end to a science debate.

As usual, Stossel reports only one side of the story. He fails to mention that the overwhelming majority of scientists in relevant fields agree that not only is climate change happening, but that there is a human component affecting the change. That's why the debate is over, not because of Gore's film.

First you need to ask a real question.
I probably agree but who can tell.

The question is Moot! Enough scientists have already weighed in on this question - it does exist. Many experts believe it's already too late to save our planet from Global Warming.
Have you seen the satellite images of the polar ice cap?
Did you see the pollution measurements taken from the ice cap?
That's proof enough for me
