my windshield wipers only move at the fastest speed, they do not go slow at all, and i have to time it perfectly to get them back down.. i have a 2002 chevy malibu.. what could be wrong? how much would it cost to fix? thanks!

sounds like the motor for your wipers is bad, could be a recall part Malibu has a ton of recall parts, check with your local dealer it could be a FREE fix.

your wiper motor is fine its your delay system that controls the speed that has a problem or relay.if you don't know anybody who can check it out and fix it then go to garage or dealer

It' a problem with the combination switch or a thing under the steering wheel called the " clock spring"

You will need the "steering column guy" to fix it...

It will cost about 300.00. nothing is wrong with the motor...

probably some faulty wiring or loose wires in the system...i have no idea what that would cost, but you'll probably want to leave it to the dealership or mechanic.
