It's not really free, just a lot cheaper all around than the $18 for an aspirin current business model.

It's not really IN the constitution, but since it goes a long way to "form a more perfect union, ensure domestic tranquility... establish the rights to etc." It's kinda BEHIND the entire stated purpose of the document.

Lots of things that we have aren't in the constitution. Where does it say that the poor have a right to welfare?

The constitution was made by people who understood that society is ever changing. At one point, the constitution made slavery legal and prohibited women and blacks to vote.

My point is, the constitution changes frequently to the needs of the citizens of the United States. When the constitution was written, an office visit to the Doctor didn't cost 85-100 bucks either.

It's not in there at all. It would only be free for the low life dirt bags who don't work and live off those of us that do. And to all of you who are crying about how bad our country is; I'm sure Iran would be happy to have you immigrate to their fine peaceful country.

It is not in the Constitution, neither are political parties, suffrage, or anti-slave laws, but that does not mean they are not important. I hope this helps.

I've been reading these answers, and they are quite sorry. I wish I knew all these people's addresses, I would mail them a copy of the constitution.

Hillary asserts that it is a right, I should mail her a copy of the Bill of Rights as well.

I think that would be covered under "Promote the General Welfare". And if you argue that it's not specific enough, let me direct your attention to "Right to Bear Arms", which is the NRA's flagship statement but which is meant for military use only.
