i dont know what i think yet but i know he doesnt want anything to do with his mom so i guess he so that is why he is changing it.

I can't understand why he didn't do it a long time ago. He is a Horton after all. and they have claimed him as family for awhile.

i think he should, his father was a Horton. I am also wondering if he is going to turn out to actually be a DiMera, Stefano's son. Maybe that is why they are having him legally change his name to Horton to add a little extra twist. That would be interesting to watch if Lucas and EJ were brothers. It would turn Lucas' life more upside down than it already is. But I think it would be interesting so the writers probably wont do it.

I have mixed feelings about it. I get why he's doing it...because of all the horrible things Kate has done to him. But, I am so used to Lucas Roberts. Lucas Horton sounds weird to me. What happens when he eventually forgives his mom? Is he going to change it back to Roberts? And isn't Will's last name Roberts? So now he won't share a last name with either of his parents. I don't know...I guess we'll have to get used to it.

Sorry, but I'm going to be totally superficial about this: Lucas Roberts sounds WAY better than Lucas Horton. He should keep his name as is and if he wants to cut Kate out of his life, then he should just keep pushing her away the way he has been doing all summer.

I think that with the way Kate has tried to wreck Lucas and Sami happiness or hurt Sami at all. I think Lucas wanting to change his last name makes sense because then when people meet him for the first time(if they have already met Kate) will know that they are not related. That's just my thought. I think Lucas really loves Sami and he is just sick of his mother putting her two cents in or causing trouble for them.

Why not? Non of the other kids have her last name. Plus his dad is a Horton. So why not change it to that.

I think it is about time., I mean his father was a Horton so why didn't Kate give him that name as a child. I hate Kate. He should have done that along time ago.

He should have done it when he first found out he was a Horton; They have accepted him into the family and tried to help him when they could, unlike his mother who has done everything she can in her power to destroy him ( in the name of love---- bull). Kate has always been interested in only one thing herself and what she can get out of life. Anyone standing in her way had better beware.

i think that he should change his name... kate has never approved of sami and now all of a sudden she wants him to be in her life because he just had twins with sami and he wants to be a granny.. what about will??? i so think that he should change it.. i wonder if that means that he will change wills name to from will roberts to will horton??? kate has treated both of her children so bad.. they should have killed her off instead of john.
