it has been a few wks since we officially broke up after 4 years b/c he was unhappy... his bday just past and i feel really bad for not sending him a bday txt msg, should i still send a belated one?

I broke up with him first but it was out of anger and I didn't mean it. So i gave him time to cool off and tried to get back with him. But couple of weeks later, he confirmed with me he doesn't want to get back and wants an official split. I took it badly and I did ask him back again but he said he wants to be single, feels stress-free, tell me to not have hope, find another man. Do you think this relationship was bound to have ended sooner or later even if I didn't break up with him out of anger? Or do you think there were other things besides this that triggered this result? I just really regret what I did and wonder if this is really all my fault.

You broke up for a reason... and sounds like maybe he wanted to give you that reason. Let it go and move on. He doesn't want you.

It's not your fault...he was the one that was un happy and even if you could go back in time and mince words, what's meant to be will be and you two would of eventually broken up. Don't feel bad for not sending him a birthday text message, he was the one un happy and now it's time you move on..I know it's easier said than done. But keep your head up and things will be oK!!

It seems like this was going to happen whether you broke it off or not just let him go and move on believe me it will be the best thing for you and it's not your fault you were just smart enough to see that it had to be let go before things ended up with you being the one sitting at home wondering what he's up to or worse. Just let him go and move past it.

LMAO at YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, if this is what you want to hear, here goes:

Call him. Text him. He's dying to hear from you. How can you let a special occasion such as his birthday go by without even acknowledging it to him? He's hurt by your decision to end things out of anger; that's why he wanted nothing to do with you. He's sitting at home, pouting, missing you terribly. He's not out playing the field, enjoying his freedom now that he's done with a psychopath like you. So what are you waiting for, girl? Call him.

THERE! NOW STOP POSTING THIS QUESTION!!!!!!!!!!!!
