Not with just a wooden spoon, but whatever she could get her hands on . . . a shoe, the phone, a book . . . lol.

No! I was the "baby" in the family, and nobody, but nobody could ever touch me and then have to deal with Grandma I was her favorite child and she spoiled me rotten. I might add, that my Parents did discipline me when necessary so that I did not grow up to be an arrogant snot nose. Come to think of it, the only thing my Grandma ever did with the wooden spoon was to let me lick the chocolate pudding off it.

I never knew either of my grandmothers.....*sigh*

The closest thing I had/have to a grandmother is one of my father's guardians....and she would never have hit me with a wooden spoon....but I think my father may have done once! Not too hard, though....just hard enough for it to hurt.

yes definately when i was 3 or younger and it was my great grandmother. she beat me if i used the bathroom on myself
