I am looking for some sort of website that can help me understand the use of time delay relays and how to use.

I need to connect a relay to an ATS so that it will cause a time delay on the utility power source. Anyone know where I can find a website that will fill me in on the theory, uses, and basics of relay configuration? THANKS

You can buy complete inexpensive circuit boards that use the 555 type Integrated Circuit timer for almost any purpose.
