I will say Big Papi...I don't know if he qualifies for all your parameters but in my opinion he is the most marketable because he is a great player, easy to like, always has fun when he plays...the list goes on and on.

Derek Jeter who else? (Not that I particularly care for him)... A-Rod is married and ain't doing much to draw new fans if he can't produce in the playoffs...
David Wright isn't too far off as long as he keeps going down the right path...
For Gambit06... what do you mean half the country didn't know about the Rockies until a few weeks ago?? You surely aren't referring to half of baseball fans...

Big Papi may be a good player but the dude was hit with an ugly stick at birth. I will say Grady Sizemore. Anyone that can transcend generations to have Grady's Ladies and Grady's Grannies should get the vote. Check'em out:

David Ortiz may not be good in many of the aspects you list but he is certainly one of the most marketable players in baseball because he's an incredibly friendly seeming person and let's face it, people like to see the long ball.

Matt Holliday. Obviously he is outstanding since he will almost definitely get the NL MVP. My wife says he is hot. Last week in a pre-game interview he was pretty fun and sharp. Considering that half the country did not know there was a team called the Colorado Rockies before a few weeks ago, I would say he can draw new fans.

The all time most marketable player I ever saw was Mickey Mantle. He was all the above and then some!

Today I'd say Derek Jeter.

I think David "Papi" Ortiz, he fits most of what your asking for and while he isn't a "hottie" lol he has a great smile that I think draws people to him

No question, it has to be Mark Grudzielanek.

Big Papi looks like Shrek.
