WHY DOES THE DMV OFFICE WORKERS TREAT THE TAX PAYERS SO BADLY? WHY ARE THEY SO RUDE AND HATEFUL TO US?

That's the nature of a bureaucracy. They got confused and started thinking that the taxpayer was there to give them a job, not that the job is to serve the taxpayer.
Don't take it. If you say something to the clerk and nothing comes of it, demand to speak to a supervisor. If nothing comes of speaking to the supervisor, keep going up the chain.
It may not help you right then, but it'll help others that come in after you.

It must be the DMV that you visit. My visits are usually pretty good. Larger citties have larger numbers og people showing up for a greater amount of services than small towns and areas do. There are quite a few people that show up virtually every day in DMV offices accross the country, with requests that the DMV does not handle, no appointment and demanding service, or having insufficient identification to be processed. After a few hours of this sort of thing, DMV workers can get a bit irritated. A major reason for the "rudeness" of DMV personel is the rudeness of the clientel they are supposed to try to serve.

They were never taught proper manners I guess... but something needs to be done, and now would be a good time. I just found this info:
Ask to speak to the supervisor of the employee or the office manager, or
Ask for the name and the address of the office manager, and write a letter to the manager, or
Send a e-mail message to the DMV. The DMV will reply by e-mail in five business days or less.

State workers are treated like crap do not get raises and get yelled at a LOT by people who have been refused a Licence.
Try work at one for a while it is mind numbing, plus everyone that walks in you have their rap sheet on file and you know what they have done.
It is a dangerous job people threaten to wait for you after you get off work.

This is the government worker mentality, which is why I"m opposed to putting the government in charge of pretty much anything.

Because we as Americans don't have any rights to complain. The only people who CAN are illegal aliens...or so, I have heard...need everything in 100 different languages in case you are being racist..

dose the word disgruntled mean anything to you? and god forbid you tell them that your taxes get them paid.
