so bad my son had to move out of state to get a decent job and i miss him, stupid n.y. i think i'm going to fold my tent too. our city has lost about 1/3 of its' pop. in the last decade. buffalo n.y. is known as the city of good neighbors but lately less & less people are living next door!

Depressing - as soon as my husband has his Masters Degree we are moving
The pay scale is in our area does not match the rest of the state but the prices and taxes are still as high

well, I live in Bend which 2 hours away from the nearest metro area (Eugene) and 3 hours away from Portland...so the job market here is bad.....but in Portland the job market is pretty fair I believe...it just depends on what type of industry/career you are looking into
