I use Playtex Gentle Glide and the absorbency is super. This is the first day of my period and I have leaked twice. I only left it in for 2 hrs. too. What is going? Am I not doing something right. I insert them correctly, what is the problem?

2 hours is pretty short. Sounds like you might need Super plus. But you also may just have a heavy period.

If you're having a heavy flow that is leaking after 2 hours of tampon use then you need to start changing your tampon every hour. I used to have this problem and I used the exact same tampons as you along with Playtex Sport and I would still leak on my heavy days. Even after I had just inserted the tampon I would have blood on the string already so I'd have to wear black underwear so I wouldn't stain my pretty underwear. I switched to a menstrual cup (the divacup to be exact..) - It holds twice as much as a SuperPlus tampon and they have a suction protection seal so they never leak. If you're interested, I'll leave the link to the DivaCup site so you can see if that's what you'd want to try out, too! Best of luck!

It means you have a heavy flow, therefore you should try and change your tampon on a hourly basis or try to purchase a "super plus" absorbency boxof tampons if available under that brand or buy another brand that does like Tampax. You can also wear a thin pad if you're not using on, just to catch the leakage and preventing it from getting through your clothes.

Your fine there is nothing to worry about you just have a heviar flow than some people all you have to do is wear a tampon and if you are not swimming or anything like that wear a tampon and a pad.

I would try something above super or wear a pad for the couple heavy days.
