carrerra 4 engine, cracked liner ? been told that no point in repairing just replace ?

It's true, to replace a liner is a normal repair. Much easier and cheaper than trying to repair a cracked cylinder!!

There would be more work involved and more expense in repairing the old one than just replacing it.

yes replace it with a nice little car, that doesn't drink whats left of our fossil fuel at a selfish rate.
