is it because i exclusively pump. when my baby was born, my boobs leaked during the second week but since he didn't latch on all i did is pump so i didn't notice any milk in my pads!!! is that normal?
does it mean that weaning will be easier?

It's fine! After a few weeks your body regulates it's milk production and spontaneous leaking will slow/stop. Perfectly normal! It doesn't necessarily mean weaning will be easier though!

I only leaked once when my baby was a couple of weeks old as well. I had decided that I needed to get out (I had been on bed rest during my pregnancy) and wanted to walk "down the street" to the store... well, forgetting that it was like 1 1/4 miles... and I went...It took forever, for one thing...and when I got back, I literally fell on the couch and fell asleep. When I woke up, there was milk all over my shirt, all over the couch, everywhere. He has nursed well from the get go and I have never pumped...actually, still nursing at 20 months...

I only ever leaked for the first 2-3 weeks. After that it was extremely rare, and usually if I'd been out for several hours and left baby w/ frozen mommy milk at Grandma's. I nursed for 18 months, she self weaned, and it was very easy!

i only leaked the first few weeks as well and occasionaly if i have bot nursed in hours( at work) my son is 6 1/2 months old and sitll breastfed and i dont leak buti bet i fi didnt nurse for more than 4 hours i would

Some womens bodies regulate their milk supply super fast. You're one of those people. :)
