I bought 2 females and a male. How long does it take them to breed? How long are they pregnant and how many babies do they usually have?

it doesn't take long at all, usually the female's you buy at petstores are already pregnant

The gestation period is 28 days

they have anywhere between 5-40 babies at one time

Hope that helps
Good luck

Basically its just add them to your tank and you will have fry in no time. Guppies are sexually mature at around 3 months As with most livebearers, the gestation period,is on an average, approximately 28 days. It is not uncommon for the female to have 20 to 40 fry.
Remember to always maintain good water conditions and good luck with the guppies.

They'll breed when a mature male is placed with a mature female. About 28 days for her to have her babies, then, even with the male removed, she'll continue having babies every month or so for at least 6 months.
