"Liberal politician" is an oxymoron. All politicians have been bought. They'll show as much support for the masses as they must to prevent a popular revolt, but their hearts, minds and souls are with their friends, family and supporters: the filthy rich. The Democrats are marginally less blatant than the Republicans about their prejudice against the poor.
