What can't be cured love, must be endured love.

Sorry, but sometimes things don't work out, you just have to deal with it and move on. So many books and songs ave been written about exactly that situation - it happens quite a bit. Love can be cruel, and closure is really just a myth; find a way to move on.

It depends. Are you in contact with this person? Are they married? Are they single? Do they know you still exist?
How long has it been since this childhood you speak of? More than 10 years? More than 20? If so, I'd say move on and consider them a long lost love.
If your still in contact with them and they are single, tell them your feelings. It's never too late to take a chance on love.

Then go look for them. If you don't know where they are then look at Friends Reunited to see if they've left their profile. But be prepared for the fact that they might be in a permanent relationship. If so, I'm afraid you're going to have to move on and find someone else to love!

You need some closure with this person.

Try to locate him/her and find out about the current situation and go from there. Whatever you do get some closure!

make a journal and write lots of letters about it. honestly it's probably escapist behavior (like watching a movie so you don't think about your real life). join some clubs and get more interests in the present. make movies, write songs and poems and stuff about the lost sweetheart. grieve and mourn. and deal with your current life.

Try to reconnect with them. Either you've never had closure or your heart is screaming something to you. You'll never know unless you find out. If you've lost track of them, try using Myspace or Facebook to find and contact them.
I hope you the best! :)

Then there's something wrong in your life. Not crazy wrong, or anything like that. Something unhappy or not satisfied. There's something unresolved that has you looking backward instead of moving forward.

if this is taking up a huge part of your life you need closure. i think you should try to find out his address or email or even meet up with him for dinner. just to see what he is up to now and how his life is. that way you wont play the "what if" game with yourself. good luck.
