Some days I feel youthful and young and then other days they make me feel ancient.........it all depends on the day!!!

Well in my case, I'm grandma and mama and I have raised my 7 year old since she was 3 months and I brought my 6 year old twins from the hospital. You better believe they KEEP me feeling young because they are soooo full or energy I have to keep up with them! Their mother was unable to raise them and I refused to see them taken by the State!
By the way I'm 61(smile) Also I just experienced for the third time the dreaded day the oldest went off to college last year, and I have a senior in high school at this time also.
I will soon have to go through the whole process of letting him go when he graduates in June! Now when I went to my oldest granddaughter's wedding 2 years ago, now THAT made me feel OLD!(smile) It was my sons daughter, not hers!

Yes I think I do. I love my kids current ages 4/7 just so much fun. I hate work because of it.

my kids are already gone and i feel a lot of freedom since i don't have responsiblity for them. they don't make me feel young. they make me feel very experienced and wise. i wish they could learn all life's lessons without going through the hard parts but alas it is not to be so. they don't live with me but they haven't 'left' me either. we still have great relationship and they're still my kids.

my young fella keeps me young and ive already got one thats left home he even left the country :-( my daughter will be the next to go but ive got another good 2 years of her company before that happens so i just make the most of it... they only make me feel old when their birthday comes around!!!

They make me feel older and I cannot wait until they go off to college. I look forward to them visiting...........On the holidays.
