it's not from the weight, it's because ur fingers are swollen. mine wont come off either. but when i took a shower and washed my hair the water and the conditioner helped them come off. im in the same situation, im 40 weeks & 4 days pregnant.

As long as the rings aren't cutting off circulation, it will be fine.. just wait. No sense ruining your jewelry when you are so close to giving birth. You are probably just swollen. My hands have been swollen since 5 months and I can't even wear my wedding band. Luckily, I was able to take it off with some soap and water. I just wear my engagement ring for now, because it is cut bigger.

Its normal. So long as your fingers arent turning purple and blood is flowing just leave them.
Swelling in the hands and ESPECIALLY the face can be a sign of preeclampsia. If your face is swollen, or your BP is high, or anything is off, call your doctor. You may need to be induced.
Anyway, after you give birth you lose a TON of water weight, your rings will fit again in a few weeks.

I think you should have removed them waaaaaaay before your 40Th week... I know some jewelry can be difficult to remove because of sentimental reasons... But you should wear a necklace and wear your rings close you your heart if that's the case... Try putting oil on them... They should come off... If not, you're most likely gonna have to cut them off... You don't know if your rings are troubling the blood circulation to your fingers properly... Be careful... and congrats!!! :o)

My fingers have swollen a little this pregnancy. I haven't worn my wedding rings for a few months now (I am 30 weeks), because they are tight and hard to get off. If they aren't cutting off circulation, then I don't think it is a problem, unless they are uncomfortable. If you want them off, try soaping your fingers and running them under cold water (heat makes you swell).

I won 35 kilos, and that i lost 20 in the 1st week after having the toddler. i do no longer surely think of the toddler's length makes all that lots diverse to weight earnings/loss - except that is strangely great or small - yet my daughter weighted 6 lbs. 11 oz.. at beginning. in spite of the undeniable fact that, we had an exceptionally annoying week in the hospital (thankfully, each little thing grew to become out fantastic!), so i'm undecided whether i might have lost lots weight appropriate away at domicile, or if it became in basic terms simply by stress and undesirable hospital nutrition. I lost yet another 5 kilos interior of a month, then the relax 10 kilos took numerous greater months to lose. i became breastfeeding. i might think of you will possibly have the means to slot in a number of your old outfits (a minimum of stretchy ones) almost immediately after giving beginning. draw close in there - i be conscious of the previous couple of weeks are difficult, yet you would be by using it quickly! good luck with the toddler!

Swelling in hands and feet are common. You may want to get the jewelry cut off if they are hurting your fingers or if they are cutting off the circulation.

i had the same problem with my rings, i wasnt able to wear my engagement ring during the end of my pregnancy and for a few months after my baby was born. i actually spoke to a jeweler about maybe getting it resized and he told me that it may take several months post partum for your rings to fit again. I would stop wearing the rings you can get off, and try using dish liquid, soap or even vaseline to get the other ones off. if you still cant get them off, talk with you dr about the potential risks and if they think you should get the rings cut off.

Your fingers are swollen-it's normal. I had to stop wearing my rings for the last few weeks, and could start wearing them again within a few days of giving birth.

It depends on how tight they are. If they are cutting off your circulation, you should have them removed. If they're just too snug to get off, you can probably leave them on. After the baby is born you loose a bunch of reatained fluids, so they may slide right off. And ask your doc what she (or he) thinks.
