First of all, your 10 month old shoudl not be eating egg. Kids aren't supposed to have eggs or milk products until they are 1. No honey or shellfish till age 2. Giving these foods before these ages greatly increases the risk of allergy to them later in life. Honey can cause botulism... nasty, you don't want your little one to get that.
When my daughter was that age, I tried to avoid cooking food that were hard for her to eat (like things with big chunks of meat in them). A great way to make foods baby-safe is to use a cheese grater to cut them up. I used to grate apples, raw carrots, pears and other things that are usually too hard for a baby to eat. The grater slices things into such tiny piece that it's pretty much impossible for them to choke. Also, I would often give her the ingredients of dinner before they were full prepared (Like if I was making a cheesy chicken and rice casserole, I would give her the cooked rice and shreded cheese. cooked pasta is another great finger food... try to get the whole wheat kind, it's much better.

My son has been eating finger foods since he was 7 months too. He's 9 months and he just eats whatever we're eating. I dont make him special meals. Why bother? Its all the same food. If anything you can puree it a little for her.

No honey or anything with honey in it until she is one year old. Give her a healthy, balanced diet that anyone could eat. Add items slowly in case there are allergies. Consult your doctor if there are any problems.
