For me it is Hillary. I don't have a problem with her sex or the fact that she is a liberal Democrat. I am an independent that usually votes Democrat during national elections.
My problem with Hillary is the aura of sleeze around her. It left a very bad taste in my mouth when she decided to run for Senate in New York, a state she never lived in, after her husband's presidency ended. But that's New York's fault for electing a carpet bagger (the term for someone who runs in an area they don't live).
Hillary has been involved in some pretty shady financial dealings in the past (Whitewater the most famous). There are also strong rumors of illegal campaign contributions.
Finally there is her voting record. She seems to always lean towards what is popular and what will further her political ambitions instead of voting on what is morally right.
Many of the Democratic candidates have boycotted Michigan in the past few months. The reason is that, in an attempt to gain more influence in the Presidential election to help its floundering economy, Michigan has moved up its Presidential Caucus date. This has upset many Democrats and the major candidates banded together to boycott the state's caucus elections. Hillary agreed and vowed to boycott as well, however when the day came to remove their name from consideration, Hillary backed down. So suddenly all of her opponents are removed from the state except for her. Sleezy Sleezy politics.
I cannot vote for her under any circumstances, not because she is a woman, but because she seems sleezy.

Hate. No. Just breeds more ignorance. Stumped by those who do no research. Annoyed at Bush Bashing. The woman, lost respect for her years ago. Want a woman President, yes, not now. Iran and the International situations do not facilitate a change beyond the issues at hand. Enter a woman and we have more troubles. The World is not ready. Hell not the Middle East for goodness sakes. Can she lead better than a man? Obviously not because she has proven to change her opinions, continues on the same political paths just as deceptive as any man... her padding of Bills in the Senate is notorious.
She blames The Vast Right Wing Conspiracy has haunted her for over 15 yrs. Well she began in college as a Republican. If you look into the "Clinton Machine" all the way back pre-wedding in 1978 I believe. Then she dissed Bill but chose her heart over her head. The rest is "Living History".
My skin crawls at this fast food gobbling society picks up on take out , NO digestion of the facts. Google is right there in front of them? All the while Hillary is presenting motions to limit Talk Radio, monitor the Internet. Basically altering your freedom of speech rights. Look it up. Thanks.
edit: sounds like u hate Bush as one stated

Being as honest as I can, I would say that my intense dislike of Hillary was formed long before I thought she would ever run for President. I never warmed up the Clintons, and by the end of Bill's second term they actually disgusted me. I see them as insincere and a bit sleazy. Since then, a couple of Hillary's actions have just enforced my dislike of her. At the top of the list was her carpetbagger move to New York. Pure calculated political ambition by either sex isn't a quality I admire. I'm hard pressed to find anyone that has worked with her in the past that has anything good to say about her which tells me enough about her character. The saying "If you're nice to me but an ******** to the waiter, you're still an ********" describes Hillary to me.

I never thought I'd say this...no matter how badly some presidents have screwed up I still have some respect for them as they are at least trying to keep America's best interests.
However, Hilary Clinton would be a president I would have no respect for. She changes her views on a lot of things, plus she won't answer the important questions. Would she be able to handle the Islamist threat the world faces?
She scares me.

it has NOTHING to do with her being a woman. my gosh - i don't mean this in a sarcastic way - but i think a good majority of Americans don't even think of her as a woman, at least not until her supporters accuse others of being biased. that goes for everything (you know, the rest of the bigot 'isms'). i mean, heck, how long ago was margaret thatcher? even pakistan had a woman PM... i really don't see a woman president being some monumental step in today's world - but i *do* think a hillary clinton pres would be a monumental step backward.

My dislike for Hillary really stems from her "Win at all costs" attitude even if it means sacrificing morals. When confronted with a spouse that is a chronic adulterer, she chooses to stay with him for the perceived political gain. Many people I speak to these days are in favor of a Hillary presidency because, in essence, it gives them Bill back in office. As much as I can disagree with some President Bush's choice of actions during his term, one thing I can stand behind him is his conviction to his beliefs even in the face of great opposition. I just don't see that with Hillary. "You've got to stand for something, or you'll fall for anything" good words for a song, great words to live by.

Having a woman lead the country wouldn't be a problem, as long as it was someone qualified, like Condi Rice. The opposition to Hillary is because of her complete lack of character, qualifications, accomplishments, and honesty - pure and simple.

Well, I do not HATE Hillary, just disagree with her politics.
She is pro choice, I am pro life. I believe in lower government spending (a MAJOR fault of this administration), and I believe in a strict interpretation of the Constitution.
Her sex, race, religion, sexual preference do not matter to me.
