It seems that some show no pain and/or don't care about others.

For a great song video about this topic, please see
R.E.M. - "Everybody Hurts"
Great song but tons better with the video. Helped me to realize we all hurt, but we show it and feel it differently.

Watch till the absolute end, please. Worthwhile.

We all get hurt but on different levels....some even more sensitive than others or others don't mind the hurt at all...but it's worth it..everything has its lesson and reason..

See, pain is all relative. We all have the same physical bodily reactions to pain, but we all interpret it differently. Some people have higher pain thresh-holds than others... some people's bodies don't tell them that the pain is dangerous until it reaches a certain level.
In our nervous system, nociceptors are the nerves responsible for telling us we're in pain. When tissue damage is being done, these pain receptors send a signal to the brain that says "hey there's damage occurring, STOP IT!" For some people it takes more damage than others to register this signal.

The Squirrel Cage,
Those people who you described as the types who show "no Pain" or "Seem like they dont care" are actually the types who most likely hurt more than any of us!! They've either been taught (as I was) as young as toddler ages, never to show emotions in front of others!! Never cry, or let any signs of weakness be known at the least bit in front of others. That's what my father taught all of us, kids growing up. Then those who dont seem like they dont care may also have a problem in the same area as I do. They may show on the outside that they dont care, but when you catch them when their guards down, they can be the most carrying giving people on planet earth!! Kid you NOT!!! It just depends upon how other's were raised. Always take this into consideration when someone seems rather rude to you in public, or even someone you know. They may not know how to help themselves. There are even types of guys I've grown up with who had Dad's who made fun of all types of people, and if they didn't laugh with him towards those types of people they got shamed, in front of anyone!! He would make 'Fun' of his own boys, if they didn't laugh with him while putting some types of people down!! Especially heavy people!! Sad, but true!! And if his kids didn't laugh and join in the "Fun" he was having they were considered just as bad as that person he was making fun of. This is how Nazi types kids are raised to be racist. Through their own parents pushing this racism on them!! The grow-up at early ages to Hate, or to be Racist, how sad is this?!!! So, in other words, "Never Judge a Book By It's Cover" Cuz you never know where that book came from, or why it was written in that manner!!! Smile!! Excellent question...Two Thumbs Up from me!! And a star!!

Every one hurts at some point in their life, but just like every one experices other emotions differently than we experince pain differently. I think a lot of how we experince pain is how we're raised and our inbred personailties. I have one daughter who's like me, she'll let you know when she's upset or hurting the older one keeps it all inside until she can't deal with it any more and than she explodes. So I think a lot of it dependent on a person's personallity and enviorment.

Just because somebody doesn't show their pain and feelings, doesn't mean they're indifferent or uncaring. Remember, everybody hurts in their own way.

Good video.

in my opinion each and every human being is unique, and while some differences are cultural (big boys don't cry etc) I think a good many more are idiosyncratic.
