This a huge pet peeve of mine! I'll let a few spelling errors slip, because I'm not perfect either... but there are some people on here that are such bad spellers that I can't understand what they're asking in the first place!

Yes! It makes it extremely hard to read and comprehend the question. It makes me want to tell them to pick up an English book and log off of Y!A.

you know i have been a bad speller all my life .my daughter and my mother were the best spellers ever.i think its because they are well read,they love to read.i envy them .i have a bad eye problem even as a young child i had a hard time reading and today i will avoid it as much as possible.i try to read and get horrible headaches.i even play spelling games on line to try and improve my spelling but my stupid brain won't retain the correct spelling. it is so frustrating for me at times,i feel i am not alone and that some people are better at spelling then others.iam an excellent dancer and my daughter has two left feet and can't carry a tune in a bucket.thank god for spell check.

Some of the horrible spelling I have seen on here is pretty shocking. I hope they are very young and have not learned to spell yet. If they are mostly young adults like I suspect then the public schools they attended need to be burnt down and the teachers need to be fired. If these people are our future the United States will be a third world country in two generations.

On the contrary I love these people ,and I am not a guud speller myself, it makes me more efficient to understand their questions inspite of poor spellings,What matter is on how they express themself on asking questions or their answers. I respect that. If I did not answer right ,that's the break, I can do better next time.

yes it does bother me but even more is the way they don't make it clear what they are talking about.
