Because they are hungry. Most of the time they can eat their fill and not be embarrassed about there plate size, and you can't tell how much they have eaten.
There are a lot of obese people in the world. In 1930 the average American consumed 7 lbs of sugar a day. Today we consume 117 lbs a day. If we keep in shape more power to us. But please do not make fun of others. It takes and enormous amount of strength to fight obesity. It is an everyday fight. Lets not punish others because they are fighting a battle, and pointing and laughing are not helping.

these people are in my opinion are gluttons and they feel the more they stuff themselves they are going to hurt the bottom line for the restaurant when in fact the only bottom line they are hurting is the 1 hanging below the back of there belt, dumb fat asses!
